A delightful late 18th century portrait of a seated gentleman in a burgundy coat over a green waistcoat before a rolling hill landscape. Oil on panel.

The work has craquelure throughout but there are no paint losses. The work is housed in a period maple frame which remains in a very good condition throughout.
