Edwardian Desktop Magnifying Glass / Paperweight

Description
A very large brass magnifying lens dating to around 1910. The lens is a condenser or magnifier for a magic lantern and is an attractive piece repurposed as a desktop magnifying glass and / or paperweight. The item measures 15cm in diameter and is 6 cm in height. There are a couple of minor surface scratches to the lower lens which would be expected of an item of this age and use. The first four photos show the lens with a quarter turn between photos and the final two photos show the top and bottom lens respectively.If you have any questions, please get in touch.
