Victorian Leather Dome Top Stationery Box

Description
A lovely antique leather dome top stationery box, with the retailer Melliship & Harris, Westbourne Grove in gilt lettering on the inside rim. The company operated from this address from 1872 until approx. 1915.The stationery box is brown leather with a diamond pattern embossed in the leather with gilt banding. The leather and gilding are in good condition, with minor wear to the leather (see photos). The inside is in lovely original condition with a moire silk lining in the lid and all the dividers for the compartments are present. No key.
