A Hepplewhite Revival bow-fronted stool

Description

A mahogany Hepplewhite Revival stool, on square tapered and fluted legs with block toes. The fluted frieze has carved patera, a lower astragal molding and a carved "egg and dart" upper molding. The stool is beautiful upholstered in dark tan, hand dyed leather which is both deep buttoned and brass nailed. In excellent condition. 570mm high, 1130mm wide and 560mm deep. Circa 1890
