Description

A rare & diminutive Georgian secretaire bookcase. In figured quartered Cuban mahogany and inlaid with tulip wood and boxwood stringing. The upper section with gallery top above the highly unusual brass glazed doors with silk lined interior. The lower with secretaire fall front drawer with an interior of small drawers and leather inset writing surface above a two door cupboard and raised on square, block feet. In very good and original condition. 1510mm high, 780mm wide and 510mm deep. Circa 1810.
