Description

A forged steel and leather rocking chair with brass hardware and wooden slats. This 19th century rocking chair is in remarkable condition with a beautiful patina to the original patchwork buttoned leather. R.W.Winfield first exhibited this chair design at the Great Exhibition of 1851. 1050mm high, 635mm wide and 900mm deep. Circa 1870.
