Gravener Antiques

Description

A circular extending dining table in figured walnut using the mechanism first patented by Jupe. The table has two sets of leaves allowing it to be used in three sizes. In the closed position it is 1370mm in diameter, with the addition of the small leaves it expands to 1590mm and then finally the larger leaves bring it up to 1830mm diameter. It is raised on cabriole legs with carved shell knees. It is in very good and original condition and retains its original box to store spare leaves and winding key. Circa 1930
