Description

An unusual Irish satinwood and marquetry writing table. Raised on square tapered legs with a single frieze drawer, and dummy on the reverse, all inlaid with swags and with matching swag handles. The shaped top is beautiful inlaid with urns and floral motifs, has a chequered edge and faded parchment leather inset writing surface. In very good and original condition. 760mm high, 1160mm wide and 650mm deep. Irish. Circa 1840.
