Description

Mid 19th century mahogany 8 day 12’’ fusee dial wall clock with original brass bezel and in full working order, keeping very good time.
Made by C.H. Stradling of Newbury between 1866 and 1869.
This fusee mechanism is chain driven, so it keeps better time than the gut driven clocks.
The dial has been repainted at some point and is in good condition, typical ivory tone and black numerals.
