Victorian Walnut Inlaid Overmantle Mirror

Description
Well proportioned Victorian walnut inlaid "landscape" overmantle mirror with its original mercury mirror plate and wonderful warm walnut beeswax polish finish.This is a little larger than the average and the old mirror glass has some lovely foxing to the plate, so you get a mellow silver reflection.
The back of the mirror is in its original condition with the boards and also has a very old paper lining too. The mirror is intended to sit directly on the mantle on the little bun feet and has a single fixing point to the wall for stability.
Measuring:
24 1/2 inches or 62 cm high
39 1/2 inches or 100 cm wide
