Description

Circa 1830, William IV mahogany and ebonised cheval mirror. The bevelled edge mirror is contained in a mahogany frame with rounded corners. The frame almost looks like faux bamboo with small ring turnings which are ebonised. The top of the mirror has 2 stained turned columns, and the mirror is held in place by original cast brass handles which twist to adjust. At the bottom is another turning, 2 turned uprights and a stretcher. Supported on a pair of trestle end legs with hairy paw brass tipped castors. Good condition.
