Circa 1820. Rare Regency rosewood bookcase of neat proportions in original condition. The polished top with a crossbanded fore edge above the bookcase with an adjustable shelf. The base in a beautifully figured Brazilian rosewood with a simple frieze and two panelled doors in highly figured rosewood opening to the interior with an adjustable shelf, and flanked by pilasters with acanthus-shaped corbels, all sitting on an enclosed plinth base.122cm Wide x 42cm Deep x 153cm High
