Description

Circa 1860. (Some slight damage to the fabric). Attractive, neat-sized carved walnut Victorian settee with an upholstered curved shaped back, the upholstery with bands of embroidered silk and velvet with gimp borders, on short turned supports above the generous size seat with matching upholstery and a foliate carved shaped apron. Supported on front on short carved cabriole legs with foliate carved knees and scrolled toes with brass and brown porcelain castors and with outswept rear supports on matching castors.
