Circa 1870. Magnificent tall hand-painted Canton (Mandarin) vase in excellent condition. The tall vase with moulded dragon handles and applied lizards to the front has a large panel of groups of sitting figures with famille verte and famille rose colours. The sides with birds and chrysanthemum decoration, and the rear panel with a group of oriental horsemen and people celebrating. In overall excellent condition, some old minor chips to the rim.62cm Tall, 27cm Dia.
