Description

Circa 1790. Late 18th-century French, inlaid kingwood and walnut Louis XV style marble top neat-sized side free-standing table. The top in veined white/grey marble with serpentine sides all round. The front with one faux and two real drawers with crossbanding and inlay and original ormolu handles and escutcheons. To the side is a drawer with matching facing and solid oak lining, whose construction shows its age. The frieze with ormolu mounts and supported on ormolu-mounted cabriole legs. The sides and back with panels of mirror matched walnut
