Circa 1860 with adaptations. Quality three-section, mid-Victorian mahogany open bookcase. Surmounted by a molded cornice above a simple cross-banded frieze, the three bookcase sections (wider middle section) and the sides are separated and flanked by figured mahogany pilasters with carved corbels on top and each containing five adjustable shelves. The sides in a beautiful mellow figured mahogany and sitting on a molded and enclosed plinth base. Attractive and functional.216cm Wide x 215cm Tall x 40cm Deep
