Description
Circa 1920s, unusual stained beech Orkney chair. It has a classic straw back with top rail finished in marram grass, and drop in seat. The classic Orkney arm with a curl to the end was developed by Kirkness, and are connected to the frame by brass screws. It is on tapering front and back legs, united by stretchers.Size 84 cm high x 47 cm wide x 36 cm deep
