Circa 1820. A quality George IV Sarcophagus shaped Birdseye maple tea caddy. The stylish top surmounted with a curved section, with a deep hinge lid which opens to reveal the original fitted interior, comprising of a glass mixing bowl flanked by a pair of lidded rosewood tea canisters, which are removable, the front with its Braham style lock, the sides with cast brass circular drop handles, all resting on the original squat bun feet.21cm High x 33cm Wide x 17cm Deep
