Description
Circa 1840. William IV sarcophagus-shaped rosewood jewellery box. The lid with a neat finial and concave edges opens to an upper section with multiple compartments above a further compartment and exposing a brass catch to reveal a secret drawer. The underside of the lid with gilt and silk lining opening to a further compartment with sarcophagus sides all over neat and bun feet.17 cm High x 29 cm Wide x 23 cm Deep
