Circa 1850. Dutch foliate marquetry inlaid mahogany 19th century secretaire cabinet, with a polished top, the fore-edge with brass strips above a frieze drawer with panels of foliage and flowers in exotic woods, beneath are two faux drawers opening as a secretaire drawer with fitted interior, above three further oak lined drawers all with similar marquetry panel front. These are flanked by columns with empire ormolu mounts above a simple inlaid base and tapering square feet, the sides of the secretaire with wonderful marquetry foliate panels.100cm Wide, 145cm Tall, 53cm Deep
