Circa 1880. Magnificent freestanding Chippendale-style walnut desk by famous London cabinetmakers Druce & Co., Baker St., London. The desk with beautiful mirror matched burr walnut with a three-quarter gallery and crossbanded outset corners above two frieze drawers with solid oak linings and original brass swan-neck handles, a foliate carved knee hole and two shorter matching drawers below. All supported on cabriole legs with shell carved knees and ball and claw feet, the sides and the back polished.133cmn Wide x 78cm Deep x 77cm High
