Circa 1860. Mid-Victorian large freestanding birch library or writing table. The rectangular top with rounded corners with a gilt-tooled green leather inset with one wide frieze drawer with a reading slide and a further reading slide at the opposite side. All supported on ring-turned tapering legs over original brass caps and castors. In excellent condition.123cm Wide, 82cm Deep, 81cm Tall with excellent leg clearance (65cm)
