Description
Circs 1880. An interesting oak Gothic revival club fender. The seat upholstered in red fabric with piping to the fore-edge and protective metal banding on the inside, this occurs at the base also. The fender is supported on fourteen turned and faceted uprights and four larger square columns with Gothic tracery on the facings. All the uprights are resting on a substantial base with stepped ogee mouldings and finishing as an enclosed moulded base.54 cm H x 165 cm W x 47 cm D
