Circa 1920. A pine framed oat straw back Orkney chair of traditional form. The top rail tied down in marram grass, drop in marram grass seat frame, all the straw supported on a pine frame with two shaped arms with a curly end supported on stout uprights. Square tapering legs, back ones slightly out swept. All the legs are braced by conforming stretchers.84cm H, 54cm W, 37cm D
