Circa 1869. Set of 15 framed original Vanity Fair prints with cream slips and narrow ebonised frames, all in excellent condition. The prints mainly of politicians and VIPs including 13 statesmen with attached witty quotes including (“To say that he is the best foreign minister in the country is not much as foreign ministers go, but as times go it is a great deal”). Excellent decorative item.Thirteen prints 29cm x 44cm and two taller prints.
