Description
Circa 1840. Early 19th century gilt triptych gilt overmantel mirror. Surmounted by a moulded cornice with gilded ball decorations above a panel with a neoclassical scene of a chariot pulled by lions. The mirror is flanked by fluted columns surmounted by acanthus capitals and open scrolls. The three beveled mirrors are separated by gilt slips and the original mirror plates are all in excellent condition. All supported on a neat moulded breakfront base.140cm wide x 88cm tall x 11cm deep
