Description

Circa 1870, impressive, tall carved oak Flemish grandfather clock. The arched hood with tiers of foliate and floral carvings over the arched door and hand-painted painted clock face with a windmill scene and Roman numerals, all in excellent condition. The clock door with the finest quality high relief foliate and fruit carving is flanked by carved pilasters. The base with matching carving and a carved lions mask, all supported on an enclosed carved plinth.225 cm high x 54 cm wide x 33 cm deep
