Circa 1900, gilded walnut oval overmantel mirror (likely by Morison & Co of Edinburgh). The gilded walnut frame enclosing the outer mirror with a series of carved ribbons, swags and tails, flowerheads and a central monogrammed carving. The central mirror plate with bevelled edge it can be hung in either landscape or portrait.Provenance: George Hotel, George Street, Edinburgh
