Description
Circa 1990, large mahogany framed Orkney chair of traditional form. The marram grass to the top woven with the oat straw back, rattan seat, and shaped mahogany arms. On slightly outswept back legs and chamfered front legs. The makers name to the seat underside of Robert Harcus Towers, a well known Orcadian chairmaker (still in operation).Size 104 cm high x 63 cm wide x 44 cm deep
