Circa 1840, Scottish mahogany dressing mirror by James Mein, Kelso. The rectangular chamfered mahogany mirror frame and original mirror plate supported on baluster turned columns with round finials. All on a flame mahogany platform base with deep moulded sides, over neat turned feet. Bears traces of paper label to base ‘JAS MEIN ET MAKER AND UPHOLSTERER, KELSO’Size 75 cm high x 62 cm wide x 30 cm deep.
