Description
Circa 1880, George II style, carved walnut and gilt frame mirror. The original, bevelled edge mirror (with some foxing) has a classical shaped broken pediment above with carved gilded cartouche in the centre, and a carved gilded head beneath. The outside of the frame has further foliate carving which drips down the sides of the frame and the base has further carving and scrolling.Size 138 cm high x 72 cm wide
