Circa 1880, unusual solid ebony top jardinière. With moulded top featuring an open fretwork carved frieze, and held in place by shaped uprights with C scrolls, carved details and plywood flower heads. On a barley sugar stem with wrap around foliate carving, and ring turns before leading on to carved cabriole legs decorated with acanthus leaves and floral designs.Size 82 cm high x 46 cm diameter
