Description

Circa 1815, Regency mahogany cheval mirror. It is framed on all sides by turned and ebonised sections with 2 blocks at each end and surmounted by 2 mahogany and ebonised urns. The mirror is contained in a simple cross banded mahogany and the frame contains the original mirror and original panelled back. The substantial uprights taper down and there are 2 well carved turned knobs with small finials in the centre. It stands on 4 sabre legs finishing on cast brass feet with acanthus leaves and beneath cast brass castors.
