Description

Circa 1900, George III style walnut and gilded triptych overmantel mirror. The top centre is surmounted by a gilded eagle with its wings spread, and a continuous scrolling top which is veneered in walnut. Below this are three mirrors, the central one has a triple domed top, and two smaller mirrors on each end with an arched top. The mirrors are separated by flat walnut pilasters and surrounded by stylish gesso gilding. The bottom has a simple but stylish apron.
