Description
Circa 1810, Regency sarcophagus mahogany wine cooler, in finest quality Spanish mahogany with lovely original colour and patina. The canted corners have shaped Gothic panels of figured mahogany, and there are similar shaped inset panels to front and sides. On either side are lion mask ring carrying handles, and all stands on elaborate turned feet with carved beading. Inside is the original lead liner.Size 52cm high x 81cm wide x 47cm deep.
