Description

An amusing carved bench/hall seat, carved as a father, mother and baby bear. The arched back entwined with oak leaves and branches, enclosing a baby bear over a bench seat, with naturalistically carved tree bark, supported by the adult brown bears. When considering purchasing Black Forest pieces always take note of the quality of the carving and the facial expressions on the bears. Many have a quite vicious look, others , as in this example have a most amusing expression. For further decorative items please visit our website at Ht 80, W 150, D 45
