Description

An exceptionally fine quality rosewood pedestal card table, circa 1830. This table is of outstanding quality, both in the selection and grain of the wood. The finely carved detail can be seen in the illustration, even down to the paw feet, with wings to the heel. The top being of unusual break front outline opens to a baize playing surface, supported on a tapered pedestal, with finely carved detail. Everything is original and as it should be, including the recessed brass casters. Ht 72, W 92, D 43.5 cms
