Description

An Edwardian mahogany writing table of small scale and light proportions, featuring a rectangular crossbanded top inlaid with a fine herringbone border and raised gallery over a single frieze drawer, all raised on tapering square line inlaid legs.

Well suited as an occasional writing table in a living space or bedroom, or as a compact everyday desk in a study where space is limited. Its scale also allows it to function comfortably as a side table or hall table.

Very good antique condition with some surface wear consistent with age and use. Structurally sound, clean and ready to place in the home.
