Description

An Edwardian oak writing table, the top and drawer fronts finely veneered in richly figured pollard oak. The writing surface is arranged with three rectangular line-inlaid reserves and fitted with two removable sliding stationery drawers running in precisely cut grooves, with a decorative brass gallery rail to the rear.

Below sit two substantial frieze drawers with pierced brass swan-neck handles and London-stamped locks, all raised on substantial square tapering legs with moulded block transitions, united by low stretchers and retaining original square cup castors.

Very good antique condition with light surface wear consistent with age. Structurally sound, clean and ready to place.
