Description

A late Victorian mahogany card table, with a finely bookmatched and crossbanded veneered top swivelling and folding open to a square playing surface lined in its original green baize and framed by a satinwood border, all raised on tapering square legs terminating in crisp spade feet.

A versatile and decorative piece of pleasing scale suited to use as a side table in a hallway or drawing room, while the fold-over top offers a practical full-sized surface for cards or drinks when required.

Very good antique condition with light surface wear consistent with age. Structurally solid, clean and ready to place.
