Description

A stylish Edwardian mahogany swivel desk chair retaining its original leather upholstered seat and backrest with brass stud detailing, shaped open arms and a carved splat, all raised on a four-legged base with a height-adjustable swivel mechanism and original castors.

Manufactured for use in a commercial office rather than a domestic setting, the chair is particularly comfortable and designed for prolonged desk use. Today it would make a perfect desk chair in a home office or library where a characterful but practical working chair is required.

Very good antique condition, structurally all sound with only some relatively light age related surface wear consistent with age.
