Description

A handsome leather desk chair by Hands & Sons with horse emblem embossed to the seatback, possibly military as Hands made furniture for the government including coronation chairs in both 1937 and 1953.

Superb aged surface wear throughout, lovely colour and structurally all in good order. There is an impression to the seat from use over the years and the leather is super supple, soft and beautifully aged. An incredibly cool and remarkably comfortable chair.

Makers mark to stretcher.
