Description

George III Silver Pounce Pot hallmarked (both on the pot and on the lid) Charles Fox I, London 1815.
The engraved cartouche next to the hallmarks features a rather worn family crest.
The pull off lid fits tightly and is in working order.
In very good condition for age with some minor signs of wear (a few dents around the body).
The pot weights 73g but please note the base is weighted.
Stands 7cm tall approximately.
Beautifully crafted item.
