Pewter Mounted Horn Snuff Box, dated 1838

Description
Pewter mounted horn (or animal hoof?) pocket snuff box Georgian style.The lid is inscribed:
"M.Lawson 1838"
Very good condition. Minor signs of use to the surface of the pewter top. Hinge works well and the lid closes tight.
Nice tactile item.
