Late Medieval Knightly Hand and a Half Sword, c1475-1500
Armour piercing blade of a diamond cross section.
Bladesmith's maker's mark in each face of the blade. One retaining original brass inlay.
Fine river found condition (North of England in the early 20th century).
From an old collection.
Due to the size/weight and nature of the item - it is collection only from the Red House Antiques Centre York.
