A lovely primitive late 18th century yew and elm hoop back Windsor chair, probably from the south west. The patination on the chair is perfect, with a beautiful deep colour. The hoop back and underneath of the seat have at some time in the past been repaired by a country blacksmith, making it a much loved piece of furniture.DateLate 18th Century
