Description

Wonderful antique oak silver chest made by R S Garrard & co, Crown Goldsmiths and Jewellers, London. It came from Hunterston House, Ayrshire. It is solid oak with metal bands and has four carrying handles. It has its original interior including lift out tray and each compartment is labelled for different cutlery. The chest is in very good,sound condition. It also has an address label see photo, reading "The Lady A Tain, 17 Gloucester Terrace, Hyde park, London". The chest has a slightly curved top and measures 67cm high, 91cm wide, and 60cm from front to back. You are welcome to view and is listed for collection but can quote for delivery.
