Description
A beautiful late 19th century Art Nouveau patinated bronze table lamp of a nude snake dancer with a snake. The stunning bronze sculpture/lamp is of superb quality and is signed on the side at the bottom of the sculpture: Dominique van den Bossche was a Belgian 19th-century sculptor who was born in 1854 - 1906). The lamp sits on a lovely turned marble verde base. Condition. The lamp has been rewired but does have a historical break to the arm holding the light. This has been professionally, sympathetically restored, is structurally sound and impossible to see.DateArt Nouveau :
