Gustavian Swedish pier mirror early 19th century

Description
Superb early 19th century (circa 1820) Gustavian pier mirror by Johan Martin Berg in Gothenburg, Sweden. The mirror has beautifully carved detail, painted in French grey tones with further gold gilt decoration. Condition. The mirror is in remarkable condition but has a few minor losses to the paint and gilding, commensurate with age but does not detract from the mirror. The main mirror plate has been replaced with the two smaller top and bottom mirror plates still original.DateEarly 19th Century :
