Description

A delightful extra large silk Jacquard Egyptian revival piano shawl from the Art Deco period (1920s). The shawl is intricately woven with highly detailed depictions of Egyptian motifs and scenes with Pharos. The shawl was stored away in a drawer for a very long period thus has no fading to the colours and is still as vivid as it was 100 years ago. There is a tiny loss of trim on the lower right-hand side (3.5cm) but not noticeable unless pointed out otherwise, it's in amazing condition for its age.
